Fair Trade Organic Honduras Copan CAFESCOR

This Fair Trade Organic Honduran coffee comes from the western part of the country, and it is brought together by a new cooperative, CAFESCOR.  They are working with farmers to bring coffee to a central mill, where their commitment to sustainability means that they float the cherries in recycled water and pulp the beans using low water means.  

CAFESCOR has a cupping lab for quality control, and a central organic fertilizer production plant, so that the farmers can focus on their coffee.

We’ve roasted this light, and in the cup you’ll taste notes of white grape, caramel, and walnut.  It’s a delicious cup of coffee.
