Colombia Huila Finca La Ilusion Natural

This is a beautiful micro-lot Colombian, grown by Roseval Ortiz Escarpeta in the Andes mountains.  It comes from the San Agustin region in the southwest of the country, in the Huila department.  His farm is called Finca La Ilusion.

Sr. Ortiz was helped by a government program that helped those displaced by fighting in the area.  He has crafted a truly special coffee: it is a natural, or dry, process with great fruity tones of strawberries and a light chocolate finish.  Enjoy.
