Hacienda La Esmeralda Panama Geisha

This is a unique varietal of arabica coffee: geisha.  The flavors are more similar to an Ethiopian Yirgacheffe than to any other Central American variety of coffee.  It is grown exclusively by the Peterson family at Hacienda La Esmeralda, and their geisha coffee has won many awards.

This is the Geisha 1500, meaning that it is grown above that elevation.  It is roasted light, and the flavors dance in your mouth.  You taste floral tones first, and then dried fruit flavors.  It has a depth and body that helps the flavors to linger as you swallow.  An exquisite cup.
