Rainforest Alliance Guatemala Antigua Finca Medina

This Rainforest Alliance Guatemalan comes from the Antigua region, a protected designation of origin because of their renowned coffee reputation.  This family farm, Finca Medina, was established in 1872, and their coffee is grown under a canopy of native shade trees.

According to our broker, “Finca Medina has a firm commitment to providing a safe and clean work environment for more than 17 full-time and 174 seasonal workers. Finca Medina also provides scholarships and funds to purchase school supplies, which extends to college enrollment for employees and their children.”

We’ve roasted this beautiful coffee light, and it tastes of dark chocolate and roasted pecans.  It’s delicious!
