Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Natural Banko Gotiti

Ethiopia is known as the birthplace of coffee, and this stellar offering is grown from indigenous cultivars in the Gedeb area of Yirgacheffe.

It is a natural coffee, meaning that the beans are sun-dried with the fruit still attached. The ripe cherries are carefully laid on raised beds, where they are turned regularly until they reach optimum moisture levels. This leads to distinct notes of dried fruit in the final product.

We’ve roasted this light, and it has an amazing berry aroma, which complements the taste of blueberry and dried plum. It’s fruity and sweet: delicious.
