Right about now you may be wondering what in the world “Strictly Hard Bean” coffee is.  This Costa Rica Strictly Hard Bean is sourced from farms at elevations over 4,500 feet.  Coffee cultivated at these altitudes matures slowly and grows to be harder and denser than beans grown at lower elevations.  This creates what producers call a “strictly hard bean” or SHB.  SHBs are known for their consistency and rich taste.
