Organic Mexico Chiapas Altura

Ask any of the Carolines Crew and they’re likely to say some version of Mexico Chiapas Altura is one of their favorite coffees.  This is a new Organic Mexico Chiapas Altura and we’re excited to grow our recommendation list!

Why do we have multiple Mexico Chiapas Altura coffee options?  Well, Chiapas is the southern state of Mexico, so that part of the name explains your coffee’s origins.  Altura is a term used when coffees in Mexico are grown at high elevations.  As you may guess, a lot of coffee production takes in Chiapas at high elevations – lucky for us!  The southern state’s mountain ranges provide ideal climates for the small, family-owned farms responsible for most of the region’s coffee cultivation.

This Organic Mexico Chiapas Altura is a perfect light roast for those who wish to try something a little different than their usual medium or dark roast.  It’s low in acidity and very smooth.  You’ll taste cinnamon, apple and dark chocolate with each sip.
