Fair Trade Organic Mexico Oaxaca CEPCO Altura

This Mexican coffee has a medium body and a nutty flavor, with accents of cacao and lemon.  It is certified fair trade and organic, and comes from the southern part of Mexico, in Oaxaca.

This coffee is grown by members of CEPCO (Coordinadora Estatal de Productores de Café del Estado de Oaxaca): an organization operating throughout Oaxaca. Being a member of CEPCO allows these small family farms, many of whom come from indigenous groups, access to the international market through direct trade. This ensures a much better price for their beans than would be available otherwise.

This is a delicious fair trade and organic option, and a favorite of our employees.
