Colombia Nariño San Antonio Natural

This is a beautiful micro-lot Colombian, grown by Nilson Luis López Dias on his San Antonio farm.  This coffee is grown above 6000′ in Medina Espejo in the municipality of Buesaco, within the department of Nariño.  His farm is surrounded by two volcanoes, Doña Juana and Galeras, which provide the perfect soil for coffee to prosper.  This region is know for the quality of their beans.

The first thing you will notice about this exceptional coffee is the strong aroma of dried blueberries when you open the bag.  This is a natural, or dry, process, meaning that it is dried with the fruit still intact.  In the cup this translates to a beautiful flavor of creamy stone fruit, currants, and pear.  It’s delicious.
