The actual name for this coffee is Honduras Santa Elena Catracha: Maria Adela Nolasco Micro-Lot–but that’s a bit long for a title. This is a beautiful micro-lot Honduran, grown by Senora Nolasco on her two acre farm in the west of the country. The coffee is a partnership by Royal Coffee and the Catracha Project, which are working to improve the quality of coffee in the Santa Elena area.
Growing a specialty coffee has enabled Maria Adela Nolasco to send her 17 year old to college. This Honduras coffee is roasted light and has sweet caramel tones with a nutty finish. It has a medium to full body and it’s easy to sip. An excellent single farm product.
