Guatemala Acatenango Finca El Pilar

Finca El Pilar is a family farm located near the small but sprawling city of San Juan Sacatepéquez, in the northern mountains of the Guatemala Department, the country’s capitol region.

El Pilar is almost 700 acres in its entirely with nearly 470 acres remaining a preserved forest.  And while the farm is not certified organic, organic methods are used whenever possible. 

Guatemala Acatenango Finca El Pilar joins Carolines Premium Collection – a group of the world’s top-tier coffees.  This light roast is well-balanced and, like most Central American coffees, smooth with none of that light roast acidity.  The complex notes of this bean manifest in a deliciously sweet taste of papaya and banana. Each sip brings a fragrant, lingering hint of cinnamon.
