Organic Sulawesi Toraja Sapan Minanga

This Organic coffee comes from the Toraja people in South Sulawesi (formerly Celebes).  It is grown at over 6000 feet, especially high for Indonesia.  The Toraja people are known for their unusual, boat-like homes, and their elaborate funeral rites.

They are coming to be known for their beautiful coffee.  In the cup, this Sulawesi has the full-bodied richness typical of Indonesian coffees-with a bit brighter, more vivid and tangy flavor. This is a favorite among our staff, and the light roast on the beans brings out a toasted toffee finish.
