This Balinese coffee is an employee favorite. It is grown using the Subak Abian irrigation system, built over 1000 years ago by Hindu priests who practiced Tri Hita Karana: a three part harmony between the environment, humanity, and God.
This is a wet hulled coffee, called Giling Basah in Indonesian, a traditional processing method where the fruit and parchment are milled before the coffee is dried. It has a unique blue hue. It is organic and Rainforest Alliance certified, grown on the slopes of Mt. Agung.
We’ve roasted this light, and it is full-bodied with notes of cocoa and nuts. It finishes with a caramel sweetness. Delicious!
