Fair Trade Organic Ethiopia Sidamo Natural

When you open the burlap sack that this Ethiopia Sidamo came in, green, there is an overwhelming aroma of dried blueberries.  And once it is roasted, this fully natural, or dry-processed, coffee comes through with a taste to match: it has notes of dried plums, and dark chocolate–tangy and sweet.

This remarkable certified fair trade and organic bean comes from the Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative in the Oromia region of south-central Ethiopia. It is fully sun dried with the coffee cherries intact, which gives it sweet fruit tones.  It’s a delicious brew.
