Organic Congo Kivu

This is a new coffee for us, from the Democratic Republic of Congo.  It comes from Kivu, on the far east of the country.  Virunga Coffee Company has been working with farmers to help them with logistics and certification, and they provide washing stations.  This is a fully washed bean, light roasted.  It tastes of melon and sweet citrus, with a high acidity and it’s certified organic.
