Colombia Mejor de Nariño Leonardo Loaiza

This is a beautiful micro-lot Colombian, selected as one of the Mejor de Nariño (best of Nariño) by a panel from Inconexus Fine Coffee of Colombia and Royal Coffee of the United States.  This coffee is grown above 6800′ by Leonardo Loaiza on his Finca San Joaquin.  Sr. Loaiza works hard to get his coffee to market from such a remote location.  He is able to improve the quality of his coffee with his own micro-mill for a fully washed bean right on the farm.

In the cup this Colombian has a pleasant acidity, and tastes of sweet pear and citrus.  It’s delicious and easy to drink–and it supports a small farmer.
