Twelve Giveaways
Last Friday ended with a beautiful snowstorm in Nevada County. It snowed at all elevations, which is unusual for here: often only the higher spots get snow. My kids spent the weekend playing outside: building a snowman and tobogganing. They ended up with two days off of school for the icy conditions (I know, I know–all you midwestern and east coast folks can insert a California snow joke here), so we’ve had a fun week of snow days and Christmas activities. Winter weather is such a delight when you are six and eight.
Chocolate and Coffee: Yum!
If you missed our tasting last Sunday with Cello Chocolates, we had a great time despite the snow. We paired six of their bars with six of our coffees, and gave away free samples to all who showed up. My favorite pairing was the Natural Balinese coffee with the Peruvian chocolate, and Becky’s favorite was the Bolivian chocolate with the Celebes Kalossi coffee. If you would like to choose your own favorite, we have a Bach Cello Sweets variety pack (set of six bars) available for the holidays.
As I thought about the Christmas season around here, I realized that it is time for another giveaway, to say thank you to all of our customers.
