Maragogype (pronounced mara-go-hee-pay) has also been called the elephant bean. It is a genetic mutation of arabica typica that grows large. This particular one comes from the Beneficio La Estrella mill in Ocotal, Nicaragua. Order it whole bean and notice that it is double the size of most coffee.
This Maragogype AA has a bright acidity, medium body, and tastes of light fruit and milk chocolate tones.
