Espresso Roast

(2 customer reviews)

$7.75$14.99

Espresso is a funny thing: it’s a roast, a blend, a grind and a brew. Here I’m talking about the blending and roasting of espresso. We start with Colombian Supremo, add several Central and South American hard beans and finish with Brazilian Santos for a great crema on the head of the brew.

Wonderful crema – use 14 grams of espresso roast, tamp at 30 lbs. (autotamp.com), and run through your espresso machine. This roast is the best I have found (and I have tried 100’s of “espresso” roasts from all over) for espresso, espresso drinks and Americanos. I have invested over $2200 in a professional grinder, Espresso Bar machine (Wholelattelove.com), scale and autotamp — and Caroline’s Espresso Roast is the best espresso roast I have found — and I have looked for great coffees for over 20 years (Caroline’s French Roast comes in second). Amazing they were under my nose this whole time. BT, Clio, CA.

I can’t explain how consistently great Caroline’s expresso roast tastes. It is full bodied, rich, with an amazing medium dark crema. I’ve been to Seattle, Italy, and around the world searching all the while for a better espresso, and I simply can not find one. From 13 grams to 20 grams, Turkish to coarse espresso grind, I enjoy every shot I pull off this delectable delicacy. I only order Caroline’s espresso, and I have it shipped to wherever I live.
