Jamaican Sale and FTO Nicaraguan Special

‘Tis the season for so many things.  I hope that for you it is a season of thankfulness, and joy.  And that you are finding some peace amongst the hustle.  I know that I have to seek to find the moments of quiet and gratitude.  Luckily, even in the middle of a show week (it’s Nutcracker time for us), there is so much for which to be thankful.  Around here, we are so glad for our many customers.  In that spirit we are continuing our December of deals with a sale on our Jamaican Blue Mountain.

Ready for the Nutcracker

Our Christmas tradition is to drink Jamaican Blue Mountain on Christmas morning.  I like to take it a step further and eat dark chocolate out of my stocking while I drink it.  Provided there is dark chocolate in my stocking (wink, wink, Santa).  This is a beautiful coffee, delicate and delicious, and I can’t wait to continue the magic this year.  If you would like to drink Jamaican, it’s $5 off per pound through next Wednesday, both in store and on the website.

We do also have a featured coffee this week, in addition to the sale.  It’s our Fair Trade Organic Nicaraguan.   This also pairs beautifully  with chocolate–it’s one of my favorite matches.  It comes from the highlands of Jinotega, and it is grown by a co-op of family farmers.  Together the co-op has provided money for education for the farmers and their children and helped construct a rural school.
