Merry Christmas
This is it. There will not be another newsletter from yours truly until after Christmas. At that time we will resume our normal routine of featuring a coffee of the week. Today though, we want to continue to express our appreciation to our many customers. If you haven’t yet entered our Twelve Giveaways contest, find our blog here to enter. Walking with joy on Donation Day
This morning I had the treat of watching the local schoolchildren fill the streets of downtown as they marched in the local Donation Day parade. The picture above is from right in front of our store as they walked by, each carrying a can of food. You can read about the history of the parade, which celebrated its 130th year today, here . It’s a tradition in our town that started back during the mining days, and this local community still gives back today. Another reason we love our town.
Tonight we will be open until 9 pm for the final Cornish Christmas. It’s sure to be a festive event since the weather has been so clear this week. For the next three days we will have extended hours until 7 pm each night, along with many other downtown shops, for your last minute shopping needs. We will be closed on Christmas Day, and then open the rest of the week.
